Cedric Vanderlinden is the owner and director of Underculture Contemporary. He is a veteran fine artist with over 20 years in the field, a score of successful exhibitions, and solid academic grounding, including years spent lecturing at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
He is also a business entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience as an operations manager, salesperson and director, and is single-mindedly driven and passionate about elevating the awareness and appreciation of contemporary fine arts in Nelson Mandela Bay and the Eastern Cape.
Alison Shaw is the gallery manager for Underculture Contemporary. She completed a BTech Degree in Fine Arts at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2012. During the final year of her studies she was employed as an assistant and graphic designer for the GFI Art Gallery (previously known as The Ron Belling Art Gallery) and subsequently went on to do a curatorial internship at the GFI Art Gallery in 2013.
